"What the?"

A couple of months ago, my friend Bill put out a call for literary passages that he could interpret photographically. He just posted his interpretation of the excerpt I gave him. Incidentally, I love that he titled the photo “What the?” It reminds me of my friend Ruth, who says that a lot. Instead of saying, “That’s confusing,” or “How crazy!,” she says, “What the?” She can be a bit like Oskar that way.
